How I Work 1:1 with C-Suite Executives

Having worked with hundreds of senior executives since 2002, I know that every coaching engagement is unique. Hence, I don't offer a cookie-cutter approach but first seek to understand what would best serve you and based on that design an overall approach which is most likely to serve the purpose of the coaching and achieves the expected outcomes.

I also know that life - especially at the top - is highly dynamic and what we might have planned initially is likely to require adjustments along the way. That's why I usually contract a certain number of engagement hours with my clients that can be used in a number of different ways, including;

  • 1:1 Coaching Sessions
  • Stakeholder Interviews
  • Tripartite Meetings (e.g. Coachee / Coachee's Superior / Coach)
  • Shadowing (observing Coachee in real-life situations)
  • etc.

While I hold internationally recognized advanced certifications such as Professional Certified Coach (PCC) of the ICF and WABC Certified Business CoachTM (CBCTM), I don't limit my approach to 'pure' coaching, if I believe that another approach is more effective in any moment.  Because I know that my clients don't really care about coaching per se, but about the outcomes they achieve, and that's where I put 100% of my focus.
